Do esc-x shell Then in the shell try to use rlogin to some computer as some other user
> rlogin -l name host It prompts for a password but after typing the password and you hit enter, it hangs at that point (nothing comes back to the screen). I checked 21.4 and it does this too. But if I open a terminal window outside of emacs, the same rlogin works fine. And when in the emacs shell I just use "rlogin host" and goto that host as myself by default, it works fine.
