`with-timeout' is a compiled Lisp macro
  -- loaded from "/usr/local/lib/xemacs/xemacs-packages/lisp/fsf-compat/timer.elc"

There *is* a 'with-timeout' in XEmacs 20 (.2 at least), it just requires
that the 'fsf-compat' package be installed...
