Someone mentioned an issue with planner multi -- that they were getting "cannot open output file ~/Plan:".
Maybe someone's already tracked this down, but if not -- I just got this too, and it was caused by creating a task that contained an open paren but no closing paren -- which apparently is then parsed as being part of the planner-multi plan page links. I was in planner-multi-mode, used planner-create-task-from-buffer and then entered the planner page name rather than taking the default. So with the following task description: Buy pants (khakis? Black jeans? in GtdOutOfHouse I got this task description: #B _ Buy pants (khakis? Black jeans? (GtdOutOfHouse [[GtdAllByProject][p]]) and this one in GtdAllByProject: #B _ Buy pants {{Tasks:361}} (khakis? Black jeans? (GtdOutOfHouse [[GtdAllByProject][p]]) After this, attempts to operate on this task created peculiar results, such as parenthesis scan errors, complaints about no such file or directory: "Opening output file: no such file or directory, c:/pjh/Plans/jeans?" and buffers (and as you can see, some corresponding files) such as the below: MR Buffer Size Mode File -- ------ ---- ---- ---- .* *mail* 943 Message ~/News/drafts/drafts/903 GtdOutOfHouse 1217 Planner ~/Plans/GtdOutOfHouse GtdAllByProject 19262 Planner ~/Plans/GtdAllByProject (GtdOutOfHouse 94 Planner ~/Plans/(GtdOutOfHouse * jeans? 94 Planner ~/Plans/jeans? * Black 94 Planner ~/Plans/Black * khakis? 94 Planner ~/Plans/khakis? :) Entertaining, but sooo wrong! -- Patricia J.
