the "Advanced" prefs should be prefs that we think will be useful to some
significant percentage (10%?) of the users, but that are obscure enough that
most users will not use them/understand them/&c.
The REAL advanced prefs will come from editing the templates and writing
complex regex expressions and building queries and talking to the database.
