Michael, I work in a french postoffice (that's my job in the real life) and I can say that we have different sizes of bag for the mail. The only problem (for the icon) for me is that the name of the app is "Letters.app" not "Mailbag". If the icon can show more letters, it will be a quite perfect representation of what I think to be THE icon for an application named "Letters".
