The problem is Evie says does not open her Auto file log each time she receives email so her mail piles up in the Auto log file as a new one is not generated each time if it is not opened each time mail is received. In my opinion the small effort of just opening the Auto-log file (without even reading a single message in it) each time she retrieves email would make a new Auto-log file easily sortable for those few times when it might be useful to her as you say and as I tried to say. But I do see her point which is that she wouldn't have to do any of this if the "Too Dumb" and "where are you" messages had an [EM] ahead of them if they come from the Emailer list. Then she knows she doesn't even have to wonder if they were personal or business-related mail. Regardless of what the emailer list does, it sounds like she still has to look for those important messages which mistakenly get filed as SPAM by her filters. It seems to me she must be frequently checking spam folders unnecessarily. She could just sort the auto file log for the spam email and then search those emails for titles possibly erroneously filed as Spam which she has seen come in. She could read the questionable ones directly from the single Auto file log which might reduce the necessity of checking multiple spam folders for these messages. Evie, we are just trying to help. Most of us have picked up on the fact that you say you are searching multiple folders for possibly-misfiled important messages, and that if you use the Auto File log, you only have to look in one. And that is all I have to say.
