Two Earthlink techs acknowledged last night that it was mail server problems at their end. I narrowed it down to two particular servers that were giving me all my stripped subject lines and futuristic dating - "niles" at mindspring and "eagle" at earthlink. Judging from your headers, though, there may be some other servers involved. I don't know how earthlink/mindspring distributes the workload among their mail servers, so I don't know how many are affected. In my particular case, however, it was only e-mail that passed through those two particular servers that was affected.
