I can't find my stash of descriptions of error messages. What do these
mean?
This error occurs when I use the POP account with our vitual host
([EMAIL PROTECTED]) but with the SMTP setting of the new ISP:
** Pop server error "-ERR authorization failed"
I also received this error (but I don't recall what I had changed, sorry):
** 553 relaying denied for IP:63.214.12.104
Addr:[EMAIL PROTECTED] (#5.7.1)
** SMTP server error "503 RCPT first (#5.5.1)"
I'm switching ISP's and trying to get my settings right. I'm wondering if
the new ISP will permit me to use their SMTP to send mail when the email
account/POP server I'm retrieving from is different.
