Hmmmm... I tried sending this a day or so ago and the list mom bounced it back as disallowed. I would very much appreciate it if someone, who has a G3 iMac in front of them, would send me a couple of system preference files which are unique to the iMac.
I am about given up trying to get a set of iMac restore disks to work on my 9600. But this is one last shot at it. I bought the set and I bought 9.1 so I believe that what I am asking for is in integrity. I am looking for: A preference file called "ARS Preferences" or "Upgrade ARS Preferences" Or any invisible files (if you have FileBuddy and are comfortable doing that) with ARS in the name. If you do find any invisible files, would you please note where you found them (Extensions, root level of the HD, etc) Then put that in the comment window. This is a last effort and I may be totally out of luck with all this. But, there are a lot of iMacs out there and Emailer is a great long standing piece of software so I am hoping that somewhere out there, someone can help. Thanks.
