iPhoto Mailer Patcher 1.1.1.dmg Hi EMailers! In the Sept 2002 MacAddict (today's mail) I see on page 58 an APPLESCRIPT swap that lets iPhoto use a different email program (besides Mail.app) to send resized photos with just one click. iPhoto Mailer Patcher replaces two files in the iPhoto bundle: /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/Mail.scpt and /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources/mail.tif The first is the AppleScript which iPhoto uses to send the pictures. It is replaced by a copy modified to work with the selected mailer. The second is the icon displayed in the "Share" toolbar. The modified version shows the selected mailer icon instead of the Mail icon. iPhoto Mailer Patcher does not delete the old files. It renames them. It currently only supports Entourage, Eudora, Mailsmith, PowerMail or QuickMail Pro. However, it's an Applescript, and I've seen some amazing AppleScripters on this list (Michelle!) and I bet that someone here can edit the applescript so iPhoto could talk to Emailer just as well as those other email programs. Or maybe someone here could provide the necessary dictionary syntax to the author & he could include Emailer support in his next rev. I don't have these skills, but I do have enthusiasm.
