This is all well and good but why should we have to buy something like
that? I found the same results by simply getting Caller ID and not
picking up on the calls that display no number. They get tired after a
while, think it's a fax line and don't call back. I have had 0
telemarketers call this week, one last week, and one the week before.
When I first got home, I had like 20 calls per day, especially those who
were trying to take advantage of my situation from reading the papers
(those scumbags that own realty companies and dating services, financial
advisors and long term care facilities, wasted NO time assuming I was in
need of their services, used car salesmen who prowl the 'hood looking for
idled cars, and even one driveway sealer who was going to charge me 5
times the going rate for the same job I had done for $250!)
I even got a persistent and upsetting computerized call on my answering
machine from some agency claiming to be NON-profit who could HELP me with
"all my unpaid bills" as they had access to and had seen all my credit
records and that it was a totally free service sanctioned by the
pope......blah blah blah and why on earth wasn't I calling them right
away? This one was too good to pass up so I called them back and
threatened them with a lawyer if they did not stop upsetting people by
telling them they had seen their credit records in a recorded message.
(They had NOT)

The woman I spoke to then asked me, "You mean you DON'T want help with
all your unpaid bills?". I nearly took her head off and explained that I
DIDN'T HAVE (you fool!) any unpaid bills whereupon she began to argue
with me that this could not be possible....Is that harrassment or what?
She then finally agreed to stop calling me, but not until she had added
the request to please tell others who had unpaid bills of their service
if I would! That was the last straw. I told her I had NO idea who had
unpaid bills and would NEVER refer them to her, even if I did!!!

That felt good! LOL They never called me again.
