I've been successfully using Emailer running in "Classic" mode on OS X for quite some time now. No problems, no conflicts... I basically get all the benefits of AOL and POP access in one email program (which is the primary reason I insist on staying with Emailer -- there's no way I'm using AOL's client software or a friggin' WEB browser to read my AOL mail!), all while using OS X.
However, I recently upgraded to Jaguar -- OS X 10.2.1 -- and have hit upon my first conflict. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue, and whether or not it is related to 10.2 or to something else entirely. Basically, here's what happens: I have Emailer set to automatically check my four different email accounts whenever I run the application (I do this using Schedules). Now, when I run Emailer, the program opens just fine, checks my email accounts, and I get the little Connection Status window at the bottom saying "Reading 1 of 2," or however many new mails I have. Here's where the problem happens. After the Connection Status window is finished reading my mail and returns to the "Connection: Idle -- No connections are scheduled" state, my new email does NOT unpack and appear in my Inbox! Re-connecting does nothing. I have to quit Emailer and then re-run the program. This time, as soon as Emailer opens, my new email (from my last session) begins to unpack, and appears in my Inbox, and I get the "new mail" sound effect. Whas up with that? ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
