Again probably a simple question:
I had emailed last week or so about not being able to connect to AOL from Emailer... checked the phone numbers and tried again (I had evidently forgotten what messages I was actually getting) Tries to initialize the modem Is unsuccessful Deposits a log entry: "Unable to open communications port" This all happens very quickly - one to 2 seconds maximum. When this first occurred, I was running Emailer 2.0.3 and my OS was 7.5.3 - I was running one previous change to AOL's software I have since updated to 9.1.2 or so and have updated to the latest AOL software but not the one for OS X Emailer is trying to use the modem port and I can dial out on AOL just fine.... Am I missing a file somewhere? or something else? Do I need to reload something? Ideas? Thanks and best regards, Chuck Crowell | Caterpillar Inc.
