A potentially easier way to deal with it is to check off the "remove from server when deleted from emailer" option (right below the partially receive option). Then, just delete the partial email from emailer... it will move it to the deleted mail. later, when your deleted mail is purged (mine purgres anything older than 30 days, you can set this time in your prefs), Emailer will then worry about removing the item from the mail server.
