We can get away from discussing Emailer pretty quickly with this thread
.. but I just can't help it, I have to ask/comment. I awoke this morning
with a related question on my mind. (Yes, I even dream about Macs) ;-)

With the iBook, and by association about the G4iMac, the motherboard has
a memory module soldered in. So although it has 2 memory chips, you are
only allowed to replace the one made for removal. Question: Has anyone
figured out yet how difficult it would be to remove the soldered
motherboard memory unit and replace it with a 512 RAM chip? OS X does
after all like large unbridled chunks of memory to travel around in.

And a PS to that last thread about spam. Thanks for the Monty Python
reference. Just when the news of the world seems at it's craziest, all i
really needed to hear was spam spam spam spam, lovely spam....

OOO, a real PS: I have a request for anyone with Jaguar installed.
Sherlock 3 has a nice language translator built in to it. I played with
it in the Apple store once. There is a lady I see each day in a coffee
shop who I would love to impress with some phrases in Hungarian (she's
married so this is almost altruistic. Almost because she does have a
lovely daughter.) If you don't mind doing that I have a paragraph I could
send you off list. Then you POP it into Sherlock 3, hit English to
Hungarian, hit the translate button, and send the results to me via
email. Would anyone care to give that a go? Thanks in advance.

Some key words and phrases that come to mind are;

I would like a large coffee, to go please.
I would like a refill for a large coffee please.
No thank you. I don't want any sweets today.
How much is that?
Is that my change?
Please put it in the tip jar.
I think I will sit inside (here) with my coffee today.
I think I will sit out by the fountain (here) with my coffee today.
I still want a "to go" cup".
I am waiting for a friend.
Are you enjoying the weather today?

(Please note that the servers at this shop are particularly nice and I am
not shy about speaking informally in a way to complement and leave
happiness behind me.)

I have came back to this lovely coffee shop for the smiles and the kind
people, but also to order a refill please.
It is so nice to have your smiling face back in the coffee shop.
How are you doing after closing up you mothers affairs in Hungary?
Will you be visiting the old country again soon?
Your daughter is very pretty.
Does your daughter have a boyfriend now?
