Yes. Sadly, OC is dead to X. Probably it's dead even near X. There is still a OneClick list that I occasionally get messages on. I joined it from the parent company's site. I joined because I too was wondering, albeit more generally, if OC was still around and still supported in x. >From what I recall, it is not going to work in x. There may me a work around that one of the experts on the list can help you with about using OC through classic. In fact I remember that there is a system resource that you have to change and then it works. But this is all very fuzzy memory. I don't think that I currently have any messages from that list with a subscribe link or I would send it to you. (found on - see below) But there is a place that has the experts on it that can answer you. I am sorry I couldn't help further. For what it's worth, OC still works fine on my system. 9.1 only on a 9600 with G3/400. This is an excerpt from a message thread that I still had not deleted from the OC list. It is apparently referring to the persons' experience after fixing the problem that you are now having. The problem that you are now having is indeed occurring before changing a Type/Creator code. You need to find out what that is and change it. A relativly minor fix once you a) know it's there and b) know where to go to repair it and c) know what to replace the code with when you find it. Again, sorry I can't tell you exactly what the code should be or where to change it. ----- Date: 9/27/02 5:52 PM Received: 9/27/02 10:56 PM From: Mike Pasini, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: OneClick-Talk, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Imagine my surprise when, trying to debug an app that wouldn't run in OS 9.2, I launched Classic under 10.2 and OneClick loaded -- and ran! So did the badly behaved app, BTW. I did make the Type/Creator change to get OC to run under 9. I've spent much of the afternoon here running my essential palettes (global and application both) in Classic under OS X.
