I just set up emailer on a newly installed Jag/9.2.2 setup on a Titanium Powerbook 500. I've not seen it display any unpacking problems, and it passes the single test message test.
I installed Jaguar and its update onto a clean hard disk, installed 9.2.2 with difficulty afterwards, and did a fresh install of eMailer 2.0.3. So far, it seems to be running fine in Classic mode. EmailTools isn't, but that's another story. I haven't started adding all of my favorite extensions yet -- it will be interesting to see whether that causes any problems. The only extras I'm running at the moment are BeHeirarchic, CopyPaste, OneClick! (which doesn't run) and Conflict Catcher. I did do one thing in my installation that others may not have done, though... I ran the OS X Disk Utility's "Repair Permissions" routine. I was stunned, after a clean install, to see how much stuff it had to "repair." I hadn't done *anything* but install the two operating systems. Apparently, I'm not the only one who has had this problem... I found out about it accidentally via a forum on the Apple web site. About 50 people had piled onto the original post, which urged people to run the utility early and often. *Almost* all of the pilers-on had positive experiences to report. In any case, I'll report again after I start moving the bushel of extensions from my other machine. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
