Sheesh... I like the fact that they know now all email clients can do SSL and thus might need a "wrapper", and that by using SSL it defeats Norton's ability to scan email for viri during download. And they tell you a way to get around the added security of SSL (forward to a non secure account). So clearly they don't actually CARE about the security of your email (nor of your computer since you can't scan the email during download). So they point out two negatives (and gloss over the fact that it is just a PITA for their customers), yet don't explain WHY they require SSL. Which comes across to me as they are saying "We have no reason what so ever for requiring this, but we're gonna do it anyway because we want to be 'cutting edge'". Humm... sounds like its time to find a new email provider. (and just chalk up one more reason not to use AT&T service... I'll add it to my growing list that includes among other things... fraudulent billing, harassing sales calls, incompetent tech support, blatent anti-competative behavior, etc... and we can't forget the single biggest reason not to use AT&T... employement of Carrot Top!) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
