* Close apps in reverse order of opening them. This ensures contiguous RAM space. * Use Virtual Memory, unless you work with Video/Audio, and give only 1 MB more than what you have. * Get more RAM (That was obvious, wasn't it?) Regarding Emailer, except for rebuilds I have never needed to allocate more than 15 MB RAM to it and that was with 100 000+ messages in the DB. Just to show that you don't have to overdo it. When my DB gets too slow I rebuild it, with 100 MB allocated only then, and it is fast and nice again after this. Which is still one reason to keep Emailer while I look for the native OS X successor. Problem is I want Emailer and then some, not "something else". Maybe I should build my own. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
