> Did you give your iPhoto to Emailer applescript to Simon Jacquier ? >He's at: http://homepage.mac.com/jacksim/software/imp.html
Um... not yet. I never got the last bug out of it. The script works fine, but it fails to leave the email open and ready for you to add addresses to. Instead it queues the email and closes it (apparently the default action for the make new message command). I was going to hold off until I could solve this minor annoyance, and I have some good ideas on how to solve it (thanks VRic!), but I have lacked the time to do it. >I don't see your iPhoto script on your FTP site: >ftp://public:@204.180.162.124 (And are you going to DNS it to a name?) I didn't upload it yet, for the same reason. But lets face it... my list of projects to do is getting longer, and my available time is getting shorter... so I will upload it in a few minutes (and drop Simon an email telling him where he can get it if he wants to include it as-is). Oh, and as for the DNS on my FTP server... ftp.mythtech.net should be pointing to it now. I also lack the time to work out the permission issues of NetBSD's ftpd to move the stuff to my new web server, so I just repointed the DNS to the old server on its new IP (the one listed above). A quick PING confirms that it is up and responding to ftp.mythtech.net at that IP. >Where is it? May I get a copy? ftp://ftp.mythtech.net/emailer/applescripts/iPhoto2Emailer.sit.hqx >Will I also need instructions on installing the >patch? Fairly easy (not as easy as Simon's installer, so hopefully he will include it in his bundle), and I just wrote up a quick read me file that tells you how to do it manually. Its in RFT format, but that shouldn't be an issue. Presumably you are using OS X if you are using iPhoto, and OS X's TextEdit app reads and writes RTF (in fact that is what I used to write the read me file). -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
