Close... BlueWorld (the makers of Lasso for FileMaker Pro) hosted it. And
it did vanish without warning, and a few people did try to contact Blue
World to find out what the deal was. They never answered me, but others
were told that it is gone and no further info/assistance would be given
on the topic.

IIRC, a few other lists went bye bye at the same time. That kind of made
me think they had a server crash and failed to have a decent backup. Or
maybe they just decided they didn't want to spent the bandwidth and
server resources on them anymore. Either way, a better answer would have
been nice (and if it was the latter, handing out a backup of the archives
would have been wonderful).

Frankly, their seeming hostility towards the topic, and their total lack
of desire to be of any help, turned me off them entirely. Which is a
shame really, as right about that time my company was looking at buying a
license for Lasso. But I felt their attitute about the lists showed a
general attitute they might have towards customers and problems in
general, so we turned to a different solution.
