Chris has already offered a way to replace your dictionaries, but if you
are interested in an interactive spell checker that will work with any
program you have open including Emailer, Spell Checker by Casaday & Green
is great. It beeps at you as soon as you make a spelling, punctuation,
capitalization, etc. error, and then offers suggestions for spelling
corrections if you didn't just make a typo.

I had recently installed a new OS and had not pointed Emailer to its
dictionary, but I had not even noticed until I read Chris's post because
I never use it anyway.
