Well, using eM@iler on a PowerBook 3400 which has also a resolution of 800 x 600 incoming message windows are opened to fit between the toolbar and the control strip. The window for a new message is wider, too, and is opened just a tad below and to the right of the incoming message window. This gives the effect of stacked windows, so that you can see both windows title bars.
