Thanks. On the login screen at start up it asks for the password. I went to the AppleStore last night and the genius solved it for me. Get this, you have to unclick "Login Automatically" in the Accounts Preference screen, restart and login, then go back to that same Preferences screen. The "Autologin" option will now be available (it was grayed out before), you click it, type your password, click OK, and you're all set. The next time you boot up, it won't ask for a password. Yeah I know, very "roundabout", I guess that's why they call them geniuses.
