Possibly true coming thru the AOL gateway. But I can tell you this is NOT true coming from an internet based email account. The reason I know this is not true is because long files names (greater than 31 characters) are one of the things that cause Emailer to crash during unpacking of Temp Incoming files (and one of the things that Temp Reader will fix). So it won't cause the attachment to fail to download, but it WILL cause Emailer to crash when it tries to process the message. Again, that is for Internet email.
