I am looking for a good computer desk/workstation and wonder if anyone
here has any recommendations. I am a writer by trade and spend lots o'
hours in front of the thing writing, surfing, and, my favorite task,
Emailering.

Does anyone use one of those setups where the monitor is slightly below
the keyboard's level, so the user peers down at the screen--like the good
old days, when we look down, not straight ahead, at our typewriters? As
it is, with the machine and monitor on a standard desk, I usually get a
cramp in my neck.

I am currently using a Biege G3, with a horizontal, non-tower cabinet,
but eventually (inevitably? when my ship comes in) I will switch to a G4
tower. Ideally, therefore, I'll find a desk that will accomodate both
types of box. Or can the G3 be put on its side; not if it wants to read
CDs, I would imagine.

thanks,

  John Verity
