I've been using OS X and [EMAIL PROTECTED] together ever since the OS X beta was released a couple of years ago. Yes, [EMAIL PROTECTED] will run in Classic, but Classic runs as an application under OS X. For those who don't know how Classic apps integrate into an OS X environment ... they pretty much look just like they are running under OS 9 as the menu bar and all open windows of a Classic app looks like it would under OS 9. When you click on an OS X application, the menu bar switches back to the OS X menu bar and you can play with that application. Click on an [EMAIL PROTECTED] window, the OS 9 menu bar comes back and our good, old friend [EMAIL PROTECTED] is ready to do service.
I believe that the main problem people have with [EMAIL PROTECTED] under OS X is when they try to use the modem to dial out. I avoid this issue as I have OS X set up the network connection and then I have [EMAIL PROTECTED] slurp up the email via TCP/IP. It has worked like a charm ever since OS X came out. FWIW, I'm running OS X RIGHT NOW as I compose and send this reply out from [EMAIL PROTECTED] to offer proof that these things work side by side. Check the headers, it's in there, really!
