I just learned something very interesting, which may help efforts to 
understand the Emailer database....

Apparently, the database in Emailer is *licensed*. It is based on 
Btrieve, and I have the email address of the owner.

A friend of mine knows him, and doesn't think he would have a problem 
releasing the structure, if someone knowledgeable contacts him. Since the 
database is NOT open source, there is no chance for Emailer to go "public 
domain" if Emailer is really using this database, which I believe it is. 
however, it may make fixing problems a lot easier, etc.

Anyone want to decide who here wants to be the contact point? I don't 
want to post this information online.
