>sorry, i've just been reading the news from Iraq and have to vent. can
>you spell quagmire?
Yes, it's spelled 'cliche' when used in application to Iraq. When
the left can't think of new things to say, they haul out those trusty old
chestnuts and polish them up.
>hmmm, wonder what Dubya uses? something from Seattle, most likely, with
>the spell-checker turned up to 11.
Dubya earns an MBA from Yale but gets slagged like this for
colloquialisms, but when Gore (who never finished his degree) et al pipe
up with stupidity and false info they get a pass. Typical.
>he's the one whose dad was caught marveling out loud over a supermarket
>checkout scanner that talked, an event notable only for its amazingly
>late date: 1992, as I recall, when the old man decided to slum it a bit
>to help his sagging re-election campaign.
Bush senior was an apparatchik who'd spent his entire adult life
being chauffered around and having others do his shopping. No wonder he
didn't know about scanners. Unfortunately, there are lots of OTHERS of
this sort on both the Left and the Right, and THEY run the nation from
inside the Beltway.
>Kucinich for President
Can you say 'socialist'? The man's as far left as it gets, but
because the nation's got wise to that crap they now call themselves
'progressives' to avoid the loser's label. Try a Google search under
'progressive caucus in Congress' to read just how nutzoid an agenda can
get.
Using a Mac doesn't make him right, or smart. He's still a raving
socialist.
Sorry to politicize things, but cracks like those I can't let pass.
Carry on - Charles
