I couldn't disagree more. Also, AFAIK, there is no code and not much if anything of the interface from Emailer in Mail (unless you count four letters). So I feel this is statement of yours to be without any real ground to stand on.

Welll.. having left programming behind when I did my M.S. Ch.E. with a Digital Equipment PDP-8 ... programming in Octal... I can say I'm uniquely unqualified to say what programming has gone into Mail or Emailer.

I sit corrected by those who know much more about it than I do

What I meant by "Emailer lives on in Mac OS X Mail" is that it's the only program I've seen which lets me easily and quickly send to clients with multiple email addresses with out having to create groups. I can also easily search by keywords.. In emailer I put a code in the client information [SOI] [Buyer] [Tour] [Seller]... etc. and by simply searching for the code, all clients with that code show up... lightning fast!

If Emailer is ideal, I find PowerMail to be the closest and GyazMail at
least reminding of Emailers ease of use. What happened with that french
email client? (I forgot the name).

If I switched to OS X I'd use Mail.... it can do everything that I love
about how I use Emailer
OK, I'll bite. Like what? Can it do autologs? Does it have reasonable
view towards many accounts? Is it superstable? I think *not*. On the
contrary there are still serious problems with the package.

See above.... I just want an email client which lets me create and send email quickly. Filters, HTML, and such would be nice, but Entourage/Express is so bloatware, and none of the other clients I've checked out work as well as emailer for me. What else would you recommend?
