I had a number of Classic stability issues in the begining. Almost all 
were fixed by stripping down to just the extensions I needed to be 
running, and nothing more. The few that weren't fixed by that have been 
improved since the 10.2.6 update. I would have said fixed with that 
update as Classic has been rock solid since the update, BUT, just the 
other day it went wonky on me and got hung trying to start a classic 
application... a reboot later (too lazy to do anything else, reboot was a 
menu click away) and the wonkyness stopped.
