On or about 8/9/03 10:11 PM dmcadam AKA [EMAIL PROTECTED] eruditely
mused the following:

>I was wondering what the address was cause it looked like an education
>address and the .au reminded me of maybe an Australian address cause I do
>have some Aussie friends that write me once in a while.

Some of the new blended viruses generate their own 'From' addresses out
of the users OE address book. I have seen it generate an address that I
knew was totally impossible because it contained a name and domain that I
immediately recognised as not existing as a true email because the two
pieces belonged to two people I know.

And, just because an attachment comes from someone you know, and possibly
trust, does not give it any more credibility than any other attachment
from anyone else. Beware, be careful and use your head too.

Cheers
Karl
