I have seen it generate an address that I knew was totally impossible because it contained a name and domain that I immediately recognised as not existing as a true email because the two pieces belonged to two people I know. And, just because an attachment comes from someone you know, and possibly trust, does not give it any more credibility than any other attachment from anyone else.
