The Mac version's of MS products prior to IIRC, office 2001, did NOT include the suffix by default. And the suffix is the only way Windows knows how to assign what application goes with a file. So you have to add the correct suffix to files you plan to share with PC users (.doc for Word, .xls for Excel, .ppt for PowerPoint, .txt for raw text) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
