Hi Andy, Emailer works great in Mac OS 7, 8, 9, & X. Under Mac OS X, there are some limitations though. All Software running in "Classic Mode" of OSX can't talk directly to the hardware. Thus emailer is not able to dial AOL directly. However, it can easily request that your computer make a PPP connection, and then talk to AOL over that. Emailer can easily access AOL over broadbad as well. It just can't dial AOL's phone number from inside of Classic mode.
If you are booted into Mac OS 9 & have problems dialing AOL from Emailer, you may need Jim's improved AOL CCL scripts. That's available at Chris's FTP site: ftp.mythtech.net instructions are included. Hope this helps.
