I am using 2.0v3 with OS9.2 and incoming message widows DO open behind my control strip, which I've located a touch above the bottom of the screen. Since I switched to 9.2 and my iBook800 Emailer's window arrangement change. Now my new message window is short and narrow while my incoming message windows open wide and long. Thus, when I want to go back and forth from a new and incoming message my new message window is completely hidden behind the incoming. Of course this is easily solved by adjusting the window sizes, but what a pain after years of not having to deal with this!
