My retired former major professor is quite computer challenged due to assistants who feed him fish every time he experienced the slightest hunger pang:(( So now I assist him via phone, email, and Timbuktu. He is getting more and more independent:))
He has just had to change DSL provider due to a move to a new home. The following OE account settings work fine: Email address; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Account ID: res73bbu POP server: incoming.verizon.net Password: ������� SMTP server: outgoing.verizon.net These are the setting in Emailer that do NOT work: Email account: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SMTP server: outgoing.verizon.net email address:[EMAIL PROTECTED] This is the error log when an attempt to send fails: 550 relaying mail to cmug.com is not allowed SMTP server error "503" no recipients specified I am assuming that the email account settings need to be modified.
