Hi, all!

I'm using Emailer on my spiffy new iMac.  I'm running OS X 10.2.6, with no real problems up to now.

But now, alas, I do have a problem.  My DSL is going to be out for a few days, so I've been having to resort to dial-up.  However, I don't know how to configure dial-up on my iMac -- I've run into three problems.

First, in terms of Modem Port, no options show up in the "Service Providers" configuration for America Online.

Second, my connection file is listed as AOLnet, but my copy of AOL thinks that it's using something different.  Unfortunately, AOL for OS X doesn't appear to have CCL files that one can easily copy to E-mailer in order to use.

Finally, Emailer doesn't have a modem listed that corresponds to the modem I'm using (the iMac's internal).  This is probably the least of the problems, but I'd still appreciate suggestions from anyone who's managed to solve it.

So, does anyone out there have AOL working via dial-up on a fairly new iMac?  If so, I'd appreciate your configuration suggestions.

Sincerely,

Michael Patrick Ellard
