Greetings
     I recall downloading from Fog City an Applescript that checked 
incoming mail to see if it was from an address within the recipients 
address book.  I set that up and most spam goes into a folder I created 
called "possible spam".  It has worked well.
     A limitation is Emailer allows up to 1,000 addresses in a folder.  I 
have about 1,300, so there are 300 addresses not in the script.  That 
means occasionally a legitimate message will show within the "possible 
spam" folder.
     The mail action is called "spam filter" in my mail action folder and 
also allows filtering by domain.
