'Listers: Taking a break from reminding the occassional readers of the Mac-L list that [EMAIL PROTECTED] works perfectly well in OS X Classic mode, I was fiddling with my Mac.com address account in Emailer's accounts setting and managed to mung it properly.
What is the correct string for the SMTP server? smtp.mail.mac.com or smtp.mac.com. Or something else. My set up--Powerbook G3 (Lombard) 333mhz/384RAM/20GB; dial up via 56k modem at work; ISP is Earthlink. Connect to cable modem at home via airport (Farrallon PCMCIA card); my ISP at home is my cable company, MediaCom. Obviously I must send via my respective ISP, but I want receiptients to see it was sent from mac.com account.
