In Digest V103 #205, the person identified as Bill McIntyre
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> hunted and pecked out the following:

>After reading all this spam stuff and looking at my increasing volume, I
>decided I needed to get on the bandwagon and try to do something. Someone
>made an offer to the list, offering to send a mail action that filtered
>spam and I replied asking for a copy, but never got anything.

You can sign up with Spamcop and then use an [EMAIL PROTECTED] script named
"Spamcop Emailer Script" (which I think can be found on Chris' ftp site).
After emails are downloaded I select the spam ones (as a group) and then
run the script -- which generates the "Forwards" to Spamcom and files
them in the OutBox as drafts. That's n clicks plus one menu pull-down.
Then open the OutBox, Command+A to select all the drafts, double-click
one (all open); in the frontmost window click on the clock icon to change
from draft to outgoing, and again on "Queue Message". That message
closes and the next one becomes active. Repeat n-1 times.

I also use MailSiphon to go to my incoming mail box on the BellSouth
server, send a fake "Bounce" response for each spam (one click each),
then select all spam and delete (2 clicks). Hey, Presto!! A pristine
email box.
