Heh! You made me blush ;-) 9/10/03 Martin Pickering : >I've just joined the list (digest version so I won't receive replies >immediately) Welcome. I get the digests too (this slows things down a bit but it helps me restrain from getting too much involved). When in a hurry, one can CC messages to our own addresses for faster replies since the list doesn't hide them (which didn't cause any spam yet to my knowledge, unlike some other lists I know). >I couldn't find any list archives The original archives vanished a few years back. There's a new web archive somewhere but since it seemed younger than my own I didn't pay attention. >I'd appreciate suggestions but I'd also be prepared to pay someone to >write the complete script. For someone who's familiar with it, I guess we >are looking at a few hours' work? It shouldn't be hard to do what you want, and more with little effort (like filing the messages in appropriate folders, coloring them using Emailer's priorities based on order status or the like, or maybe storing the client's address somewhere, adding records in a FileMaker Pro database if you have one etc.) Like Chris said, I happen to know a bit about AppleScript, so I would be happy to help you do it if you feel like it or work for you if you prefer (being currently unemployed, I guess I shouldn't refuse such an offer ;-) Reply offlist if you're in a hurry. To write your script I'd need copies of the automated messages, their long header, and some details on your intentions. This reminds me that I updated some of my scripts and didn't post them to my mini-website. http://vric.free.fr/mac/Emailer/ You can find much more stuff on Chris' FTP server (I forgot the address and login, again, I think login is only needed to upload though). ---- VRic ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
