Print font is indeed set with Applescript. Such as

tell application "Claris Emailer"
    set the printing font to "Courier"
    set the printing font size to 10
end tell

Substitute your favorite font and size.

I just set the screen resolution to a lower rate so I can still see the 
Browser text. My "readers" get stronger all the time, but...
