Doug, You could try dialing up from another location which might indicate whether it is a line problem. Also try dialing another service if you can, this will indicate if its a problem at the ISP end. Have you been running fax software as this can reconfigure the modem and unless its put back to normal might result in different performance that you had previously. A modem reset or power off might restore things to normal if this is the case. >
