Like Bill's experience at MacDialup.com, I have had the same rates, same great service, and no spam, at the other Mac-only ISP -- TheMacISP.net (formerly using the Appleisp.net name). These two ISPs are the main so-called "Mac only" ISPs, I think, and both provide excellent and widespread dialup service. Anyone with a Mac with complaints about his existing dial-up service or about spam should definitely check them out. Also, everyone should maintain a "garbage" eddress(es) for use on websites where one must leave an email address for mere participation. There are tons of places where one can acquire free eddresses. Then, if any spam is generated by collecting your eddress, it goes to the garbage eddress and not to your "quality" eddress which one uses for friends, family, and business. That vastly cuts down on spam at your good eddress. You can then just ignor the garbage eddresses, which may in fact fill up with spam and bounce it back to the spammer undeliverable even (one only has to check the account often enough to keep it maintained by the provider.) It only takes one "bad" place where you leave your eddress to generate tons of spam into the indefinite future, and there is no way to know where that "one" was until it is too late; therefore, taking steps to reduce exposure somewhat is prudent. ruekiefer ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
