Nothing prevents people from misusing that info. You can't stop someone from stealing your ID. All you can do is lessen the ease with which they can do it, in the hopes that will cause them to target someone else. Think about it, if you were just looking to pretend you were someone else, anyone else, would you try to be the guy that all you know about them at a glance is their first name, or would you try to be the guy that you knew their full name, company name, address and phone number. There is nothing wrong with listing all the info in your sig... you just need to be aware of the potential dangers that are out there, so you can decide how much of yourself you choose to expose openly to the world. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
