Yup, so am I >Carbonizing it so it is native is probably going to be easy from a >technical point of view, but impossible to get the permissions/code to do >so. So 2.0.3 is most likely the last ever version. ;-( Er... not really easy from a technical standpoint. My understanding is that there are a number of precompiled libraries used in Emailer. Each of those would have to be carbonized, and since some are not property of Apple (like the AOL gateway), and others have simply gone out of business (like the RadioMail gateway), it would be next to impossible to get them all carbonized. So if they can't be carbonized, then either all their functions need to be rewritten and/or removed. Basically, its not a task that I think would be considered "easy". And that's without getting into the permission and ROI issues (there isn't a big market for email clients on the mac, so there would be little if any return on the invested resources to carbonize it) -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
