Hi Tannis: When Emailer is able to unpack all files from Temp incoming mail folder, Emailer is running normally. There should be zero contents in the Temp incoming folder after all incoming mail is unpacked and filed. When there's contents remaining in that folder, one or more of them is corrupted. This causes Emailer to freeze, etc., even though the first few of same group of incoming mail gets unpacked and filed properly via mail actions. First quit Emailer. Then check "Temp incoming mail" folder in Emailer's Files folder. If anything is in there, it's corrupted and causes the problems you are having. Remove the contents of that folder and place them on your desk top. If there are more than one content, you can place 1, or 2 of them back into that folder, then launch Emailer. If Emailer unpacks those in a normal manner, those contents are OK. Quit Emailer and do same again with next 1, or 2 contents, and so on, as a process of eliminating corrupt email files received. Eventually one of the contents will fail to unpack and will cause the problems you're experiencing. Remove that from the folder and continue process of elimination to make sure none of the other contents of Temp incoming mail folder is corrupted either. Emailer should launch and run normally after that. If you absolutely need to view the text content of the corrupted email message, open the message with a handy "Temp Reader" utility written and made available to us by Chris. Probably available either at his FTP site, or his Web site.
