Hi, Last week my Emailer (2.03 on a Pismo running 9.2.2) blew up as it was downloading mail from AOL. It was downloading something from Hotmail with an attahcment. It totally crashed and when I tried to restart the program I got an error message that said something like" This program needs files to run that are not available on this version of the OS".
After many attemps to fix it (trashing the prefs, reinstalling etc) I finally figured out that if I trashed the Temp incoming file (where the offending attachment was) it worked great again. So, hoping that it was a one time occurence, I continued happily and obliviously using the program. Suddenly yesterday the same thing happened again. I checked to see what type of email it was in the middle of downloading and it was something from Hotmail again with an attachment. It was from a different person so I don't think it's a virus. Anybody ever hear of anything like this? Thanks, Philip Philip W.
