Classic can crash on network access in some circumstances (apparently more so when OS X and Classic TCP/IP settings are different, maybe because of the legacy "MacTCP DNR" file in Classic's system folder, which is hard to correct without booting in OS 9). Such crashes can leave the OSX-Classic network link in a wrong state even after restarting Classic. I've seen Emailer's network requests cause that (probably not Emailer's fault as it's Classic that crashes, it's just that Emailer is my only Classic network app). Rebooting OS X solved some of these cases, rebooting in OS 9 and launching Emailer there once solved most cases. ---- VRic ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
