There were many bug fixes and new features, but here's what I find the
most important (I use both versions on the same database, which requires
some adjustments, ask me if you're interested):

- you can now drag folders in the browser pane to reorganize them

- all dates problems are solved (it seems that the "1945" bug I addressed
by script only occurs when receiving CE mail in CE 2.0)

- better choice of attachment encodings; If I recall correctly
"AppleDouble" combines the advantages of BinHex (preserving mac ressource
forks even without prior compression/encoding) and MIME (PC-friendly), by
appearing as standard Base64 and data-fork only to lesser platforms while
still giving mac users the full story

- some support for local menus ("contextual" menus)

- a new bug in quoted-printable text encoding that truncates messages
where:
     - there's one or more high-ascii character (which causes QP encoding)
     - a line starts with a quote mark (>) and ends with a period in 72th
position
-> that dot and the text below it don't reach the server

That new bug mostly affects non-English users and is the reason why some
prefer to keep using v2.0, yet it is addressed by a script and little
work would be needed to make it transparent to the user, but I did'nt yet
as all v2.0 bugs were ALSO addressed by scripts anyway. I should do it, I
want to do it, let's make that my new year's resolution.
